9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Come experience all the fun that Camp has to offer 5 days a week. This camp experience runs from 9:00am – 4:00pm each day and includes all your summer camp favorites. Lunch is included in the cost of camp for Scouts and their adult chaperones.
Activities:
Choose from activities from our program content areas, whether that’s getting crafty, sharpening your scout skills, or learning about the natural world. The program includes both fun projects and activities as well as opportunities to work on Cub Scout Adventures:
Archery & BBs
Aquatics - pool & boating
“The Big Dig” - digging for treasure
“The Ship” - signal flags and water games
Field Games - obstacle course, soccer, tag, Gaga ball, etc.
Handicraft - arts, crafts, leather working
Nature - learn footprints and Leave No Trace principles
Youth Price:
Early Bird = $250 if paid by April 14
On Time = $270 if paid by May 12
Late = $290 if paid after May 13
Adult Price: we need at least 2 adults per day per 10 youth (can sign up for just 1 day and rotate adult registration).
Each rising Tiger (current Lion/kindergartener) must have their own partner adult (per Youth Protection guidelines)
Early Bird = $55 if paid by April 14
On Time = $60 if paid by May 12
Late = $65 if paid after May 12

Adult Requirements:
All Scouts attending summer programs at Camp Snyder must be chaperoned by either their own adult family member or a leadership team from their Scout unit. We welcome parents, trained Scout leaders, and Den Chiefs to attend camp with their Scouts. Per BSA National policy, those attending camp must maintain the appropriate BSA registrations and Youth protection training.
Camperships:
Camperships are granted based solely on financial need. Please complete this application, indicating your financial situation and why you feel financial aid is necessary. Assistance is normally granted for up to 50% of the camp attendance fee. All awards are granted based on the availability of funds.
The National Capital Area Council Campership Funds are possible because of great donors. A special thank you to the Augustine and Dixon family for sharing their resources for Scouts in need. The Council Campership Committee will convene and make award designations. Please submit an application before registering your Scout for camp online and before paying the Scout’s camp fees. Voucher codes will be sent out after camperships are awarded.

Refund Policy:
On or before June 15, 2024, a refund of 85% of registration costs will be granted for any reason by request. After July 31, 2024, registration costs may be donated or saved as rollover credit.
Carpooling from Navy Elementary may be available, departing at 8:15 am and returning at 4:30 pm - more details to come
